Bathtime for dirty boys

Who the heck doesn't love pictures of babies in the tub? Especially when they are the cutest babies in the whole world!
This is their first bath together. They finally outgrew their little bath seat so we figured we'd just throw them in the tub and see how they do.
Bridger loves to laugh at himself when he sees his reflection in the drain cover.
Connor just loves to splash water with his hands and legs. Yeah, I was a little wet after this bath.

Bed Time

Here's the little knuckle-heads playing in Bridger's crib before they go to sleep. Bridger is just starting to pull himself up onto things, so I thought this was kind of cute.

Oh Christmas TREES!

Erin LOVES Christmas, and especially decorating for Christmas. We have FOUR trees! That's right. Five if you count our Charlie Brown tree with the lights in the corner of our yard. Well, she's proud of how our new house looks all decorated with trees in all the front windows. We finally had our first big snow of the year, so I thought I'd take some pictures and show off Erin's decorating skills.
We sure hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and we love you.

Parent Teacher Conference

Jakob's parent teacher conference was a little while ago, but I keep forgetting to write down something that his teahcer told us that made me laugh pretty good.
Mr. Kennedy has the students in groups of 4 in the class. He has them compete with their school work to see who gets to line up for lunch first, or recess, etc. Jakob had told us this before, but only to complain, because he was in a group with 3 girls that weren't "competitive" enough for him. His group always finished last. Nothing made Jakob more furious. If there's one thing he got from his dad, it is that he wants to win, no matter what it is.
Not long ago the groups got changed. Jakob was so excited. His group started to win. He couldn't be happier.
Now this is Mr. Kennedy telling us this next part a p/t conference. He said one day Jakob was arguing with one of the girls in his old group. The girl was mad at him, couldn't think of anything else and called him "stupid." Without hesitation (and his teacher told us this with a smile, because he thought it was funny and true to a point) Jakob said "No, YOU'RE stupid, because when I was in your group you always asked ME for the answers because you didn't know!"
At least Mr. Kennedy told us with a smile.

Connor and Bridger at play

Here's the boys catchin' up on a little TV.

Tell me you've seen cuter baby boys than these two?

Bridger Sleeping

These are the various ways that I find Bridger when he's sleeping. For some reason he always seems to need his head covered. Maybe Connor snores, I'm not sure. But it's really cute.

A little game of 21

I'm sad to say that I don't have any pictures of it, but me, PeeWee, and Mike played a little game of 21 while we were in Utah this past weekend. If you've seen his blog then you've seen the before and after pictures of Mike and all the weight he's lost. http://the-smith-6.blogspot.com/ We can't be more proud of him and all the hard work he's put into getting into the shape he's in. I've got no problems being the big brother.
Anyway, back to 21. When playing with Mike, he's always been a wall. You just have to play a certain way with him because you can't move him. Well, 200 pounds later, it's a lot easier to move him. We still run into him the same way, only now he gets pushed out of the way. Or he flies out of the way when you give him a little hip-check. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard as I did when I backed him down in the post, spun into him, and he went flying backwards onto his butt. Amy said he complained about his right butt cheeck hurting the next morning.
My "little" brother can run circles around me now. He's in better shape than I could ever hope to be. But I like being able to give him a little hip-check now and it actually work!

Just some random pics

Bridger sure loves his mom.

Jakob being the best goalie out there.

There's a whole lot of baby!

Connor and Bridger enjoying their first campout with Grandma and Grandpa Long.

Erin and Jakob enjoying the fresh breeze on the Oregon coast.

This mountain was covered by trees until a massive wind storm hit the Oregon coast. It looked like toothpicks had been left behind.

Don't mess with Jakob, he's ready for action. His Uncle Jared got him all geared up.

Connor and Bridger were the 5th set of twins born on Erin's side of the family. We got together not long after the boys were born so we could take this picture. As you can see, no girls.
