Jakob's Flag Football

This is Jakob's first year playing football. He plays YMCA arena football for a team that is not very good. They've won one game this year and Jakob has scored about half their touchdowns. He plays wide receiver and quarterback on offense and plays wherever they tell him on defense. He's having fun and learning new stuff and that's what it's all about at this age.

The Fam Damily over for early Easter

We had Ben's side of the family over the week before Easter. There were a ton of eggs in the backyard for the kids to hunt for. It's pretty fun to get all the kids together. And we really love having all the family over to our house. Nothing feels better than having all this family together.

Jakob's Giant Nerf Gun

Jakob got this giant Nerf gun called the Vulcan for Christmas. Shoots 3 or so darts per second. Enough to make a little (or grown) boy smile. Well, it only took a couple of weeks before it didn't work right. Made noise, but didn't shoot anything.

Jakob got sick of "pretend" shooting this big gun. Figuring he couldn't brake it anymore than it already was, this is what I came downstairs to one morning. Bits and pieces all over the kitchen table. Well, between him and his dad it got fixed. And without any instructions he got all the pieces back together again and it works like new.
