We finally made it back to a BYU game! My Dad, brothers and I made it to the Air Force/BYU game and had a lot of fun.
We only drove 45 minutes or so from Dad's house until PeeWee realized we left the game tickets in MY car, that was still parked in Dad's driveway. But that was fine, we haven't been able to spend that much time together for quite some time, and I really enjoyed it.
The game was good. BYU won and that always makes being stuck in traffic after the game a little more bearable. It was pretty cold, though. But we were bundled up pretty good.

Playing in the Leaves
Dad and the little boys went to Utah for a weekend (yes, he did it without mom again and survived, thanks to Grandma Cheryl). When we got there Grandpa hadn't picked up the leaves yet, and Mom has been dying to get some pictures of the little ones in piles of leaves. So here's some pictures of adorable kids playing in leaves!

Dad and the Boys in Twin Falls
Dad and the boys went to Twin Falls for a weekend getaway. Dad sure missed Mom for this trip.
Dad went to Becky's (his sister) Boot Camp class at the YMCA that morning. He was pretty sore for a couple of days, but had a lot of fun.
We took the kids "geo-cashing" (sp) later and found......junk I guess, but the kids loved it.
Later that night was Kaiya's (brother Pee-Wee's daughter) 1st birthday. We had fun playing horseshoes, eating pizza, and just hanging out at the park.
It was a great weekend, but Dad doesn't think he'll be going ANYWHERE alone with the boys for quite some time.

Boys are on the move
The boys have finally decided that they'd like to walk. They don't all the time, but when they do it's pretty cute.
The Boys First Cut
Well, we finally did it. The boy's hair was just too much to take. Mom didn't want to cut the hair because she knew she'd miss the little curls in the back. Dad wanted it cut because it looked like a nest had been built on the back of their heads.
We didn't cut Jakob's hair until he was 2 1/2, and even then he didn't really need it. We weren't sure what to do with the boys, so we just put them on the kitchen table and went to town. Funny how a hair cut make them look all grown up.

Here's Connor getting ready for his big cut.
This is Bridger combing his "baby" hair one last time.
Connor was the first to go, and he was pretty calm about it.
Bridger not so much.
But they were both all smiles after.

It's A Jungle Out There!!!
So we had to go to Oregon to escape the rain in Idaho, and when we returned we found that the rain had not stopped. So, after two weeks of straight rain our yard looked like a jungle. The boys are absolutely terrified of the grass, so being the good mother that Erin is, she immediately sat them in the middle of the jungle for a photo op.
The Oregon Coast Aquarium
We took a trip to the Oregon Coast Aquarium while in Oregon. Ben and I hadn't been there since our honeymoon twelve years ago. Jakob really enjoyed it...the little boys were less than interested, but it was a really fun day.
How Scary!!!
This is a tube that you can get in to have the fish swim all around you. Erin's dad and Jakob really liked it.
There is walkways that go thru glass tunnels. This was a shark that swam right over us. The previous week, this tunnel had been leaking...good thing we didn't visit that day...we could have been shark bait.
A trip to Seaside, OR
We went to Oregon in June for Erin's annual family reunion and stayed a few days afterward to play...No trip to Erin's is complete without a trip to Seaside and since the little boys had never experienced the joy of sand in all their crevices, this was definitely a must.

Jakob's Flag Football
This is Jakob's first year playing football. He plays YMCA arena football for a team that is not very good. They've won one game this year and Jakob has scored about half their touchdowns. He plays wide receiver and quarterback on offense and plays wherever they tell him on defense. He's having fun and learning new stuff and that's what it's all about at this age.
